This influences caffeine levels depending on how you measure your coffee. Medium roast coffee is a brown color and rarely has an oily surface. Dark roast coffee beans are pushed between 430 and 450 degrees.

Roasting to this level also preserves many of the unique flavors of the coffee’s origin, but it also begins to reach into the deep caramel sweetness of a longer roast. You can expect to get around 95 mg of caffeine from an average cup of coffee. What is medium roast coffee?
